Is this what England fought Hitler for?

As you know, England was once a great and honorable nation. Now it is a liberal utopia. There are no guns allowed, but there is still crime on a mive scale. There is heavy drug usage, teen pregnancy, drunk people sleeping in the gutter, etc. An oppressive nanny state has been instituted despite the fact that England has produced some of liberty's finest thinkers (Locke, Orwell, etc.). What a nation. Is that what the English fought Hitler and the Nazis for? So their granddaughters could end up drunken sl*ts in the gutter?
