WOMEN: Do you think that feminism is ignored now in the US?

The old addage behind every man is a good woman, the man gets acknowledged first then the women even in biblical scriptures. As a educated woman some cultures still do not respect women. They still consider us second cl citizens even thoug they are uneducated, Haitians, Jamacians, Belizans, and Africans in the Black culture woman do not have a chance to voice their opinions they are beaten and many cannot tell their husbands they do not want to have . When as a child I was taught to respect my body if I do not want any I should not do it, it should be a mutual thing they tell them that they should shut up. It is hard to enjoy over variations of my culture when you observe this.
